Touching love

Touching love

A Poem by Tony Jordan

touch her
fingertips with yours in
a slow methodical
dance of the digits from index
to pinky
then thumb press gently forward
and feel
the resistance melt
let your palms find each
other
feel both souls reaching ~

illuminating

knowing

forgiving

promising

loving

I'm not a big fan of romance - here I go again - but, you've done it again, you can not only do it with emotions, you can also do it with simple acts, make them into thingies like this that can actually tempt me to get into romance, it is as if each frame of a single motion was captured and worked on by hundreds of artists - well not exactly like that, altho I like you I still wont say you're this great, neither am i dangit, but i like how you're able to "capture" these "frames" and the beautiful way you do it

Love is awkward by definition so you must have been tapping a good seam.

Starting off with "touch her" gave the poem an interesting feel from the beginning. Jokes aside, this is a simple but beautiful piece of work. The true emotion behind a good relationship is more than what's on the surface, or even who it's with. It's about the pure, raw emotion, deep down within oneself. Being true to others and to yourself is more important socially than anything you could do. Love is powerful, but what is behind it... What CREATES love... is the strongest combination of emotions that could come forth unto someone else. Beautiful poem, just a little confused by the spacing.

This is illuminating to my heart. Ignites all aspects of love, loving and being loved.

Composed perfectly, dancing with words eminently. Each line fits in its rightful place and each word follows the path into enlightening one to the essence of love and respect.

Awesome work, to say the least. Beauty captured majestically.

Gives me chills.

You capture the simple symbols and gestures that are shared between people who connect and care and desire. The down to earth contact that lights a fire. Your avatar is spooky though; like some scary movie.
