Forever young

Forever young

A Poem by Tony Jordan
"

A thought in the style of Jimmy Yetts and Andrew Mitchell

"
Drinking from the fountain of youth
requires that one isn't swayed by
what others think of the 'taste'...

very thought provoking ... and i believe quite true ...as we learn to accept our true selves ...what others think, takes the seat at the back of the line or i think you are right ..our health/youth suffers .. i like where your haiku-like, Mitchell/Yetts poem takes me :)

yaaa that was good...
this is very true and full of wisdom. as we age there is a tendency to "go along to get along". we lose ourselves along the way as life wears us down. "don't do that - what will the neighbors think?" we lose our daring. but to tap into that fountain we must let go of inhibitions and worries about what others may think. ah - to be young again. nice thought.

I had to laugh at this one as many times we ourselves do not like that taste. Love the little face in the picture. Valentine

A truly wise message in so few words, this shows that less is sometimes more. I think we need to keep our inner child alive rather than cast it out because "we're adults" now. Some would call it immaturity but I say we're having more fun than them. Thank you for sharing this!

I liked and I understand this poem. We decide if the wine is sweet or if the day shall be good. Fountain of youth can be found if heart want to dance and sing. Thank you Tony for sharing the excellent poetry.

May you never grow out of it Norman. You're a gentleman and a schoolboy. God Bless mate.
Happy holidays from across the way,

Yes, very true... true love starts from the inside out.. .and when one' beloved is viewed through the eyes of true love.. it is then true and lasting beauty is found along with eternal youth...

Lovely thoughts you shared.

Wishing you well.
