The Reds and Greys

The Grey squirrel has decimated the Red squirrel

Grey leader:
"We've successfully taken
another patch from the Reds!
We must continue our goal
of total domination!"

Red leader:
"We've suffered another loss of patch
to the invasive Grays!
At this rate
we won't have any territory left"

Grey leader:
"The strategy of out breeding our enemy
is working!
We must carry on our population drive.
Our superior numbers in the end
will drive our Red enemy
to the brink of extinction!
Remember,
the more we breed,
the Reds recede!"

Red leader:
"We must start to repopulate our numbers
if we are to survive this invasion.
The Greys are breeding
at an unprecedented rate!"

Grey leader:
"Try to make physical contact
with any Red you see.
The Reds fall ill
from our interactions!"

Red leader:
"Stay away
from the disease ridden Grey!
We become sick
from the slightest touch!"

Grey leader:
"Use your size advantage
over the puny Red!
Remember,
chase Red away,
our duty as Grey!"

Red leader:
"Their size is a problem to us!
We simply aren't a match
for their superior size and strength!"

Grey leader:
"Our foraging is also a factor
to the Reds decline!
Keep raiding the Red food stores!
Take what you can and more!
Remember,
the more we eat,
the Reds deplete!"

Red leader:
"The Greys foraging is out of control!
They keep raiding our food reserves!
They take what they need and more!"

Grey leader:
"We have the upper hand on the Reds
largely due to the Uprights!
They've cut down the Reds preferred tree
and planted trees more favorable to us!
We've much to thank the Uprights for!"

Red leader:
"The Greys have a powerful ally
in the Uprights!
They've caused much of our decline
through tree cutting.
Now we must feed on trees
which aren't as suitable to us.
Damn the Uprights!"

Grey leader:
"Remember comrades,
We must continue our onslaught
until every last Red has been wiped
from the face of the wood!"

Red leader:
"Remember friends,
We must carry on our struggle
to the very end!
Our survival depends on it!"
