Love in your eyes

Love in your eyes

A Poem by Toni Stevenson
"

This poem is about the love a woman or man see's in their partners eyes.

"

I look in your eyes.
Looking for nothing.
But saw the world,
the heart I thought I lost.
You stole it from me.
I hope you want to keep it.
I look into your eyes.
Looking for nothing
But find love.
I have been told that this,
this kind of love was not real.
But looking into your eyes
I can tell it is very real indeed.
You are looking back at me.
Do you see that I love you too.
That I want to keep you forever.
I want to wake up,
and the first thing I see is the love in your eyes.
I look into your eyes.
Seeing the love I hope to keep forever.

The point is made clear in this write, it not only expresses what lovers see in one another's eyes but, it also tells how they eyes are the windows to the core of the self. At least that's how my mind read this through my eyes.
