The adult game

The adult game

A Poem by Antonina Dutchak

Let's play a game.
The adult's favorite one.
Let's fall in love
And then forget each other's name.

Let's play. Here, take
Take the key.
Your hand I'll hold,
I'll dedicate
To you my poetry.
I'll show you what is love.

We'll walk in the parks,
Sit beside
Campfire.
At night
The sparks
Of light
We will admire.

I'll teach you how to fly
We'll sit under the sky
When the moon is full.
I'll present to you some flowers
Or a teddy bear.
We'll be the most beautiful,
Fearless lovers,
We'll love without care.

I'm bored. Let's play
Nor winners, nor loosers will be.
Our souls will renew.
One rule. I plea.
From those stay away
Who broken heart not knew.

Let's play! It's not serious
A way to color leisure
We'll play a short term love
No thorns,
Just rose,
Just pleasure.
