Gone the risk of rejection, spluttering,

red faced, stammering, stuttering,

even shy, introverted, young bucks

sure to score, grab themselves a winner

heck, don't have to go out for dinner!

Dosen't matter a jot nor a dang

if you're Quasimodo's uglier brother,

cause these computer generated 

beauties, love like a smitten mother,

so obliging, inspire flagging confidence

never call you a stupid jerk,

always compliments, help with homework

Yep, no doubting or backsliding

get with the times or be forever lost

in this crazy world, artificial

intelligence rules, but what's the cost?

Like the Wizard of Oz, hidden in plain

sight, a human computer programmer

sits laughing, mocking those so enamered

Pray tell, why would someone be inclined

feel it neccessary to create such software?

Risk sanity of all humanity? Answer 

is easy, same sad old git, never grew a pair!

I had to look up the meaning of Incels, as I had never heard the word before. It is as follows: "a member of an online community of young men who consider themselves unable to attract women sexually, typically associated with views that are hostile towards women and men who are sexually active". Dear God! What has happened to our human nature? What a horrific way to live and very scary too! Can't even begin to imagine how a human being could 'love' a robot and not another human being. Boggles my mind, dear Tom! Artificial Intelligence will be the end of us. There is now a very dangerous and threatening canyon between mankind and AI. Where will it end. I love how you brought The Wizard of Oz into the story, Tom and the human computer laughing at human beings who believed, something akin to the creators of AI laughing at the public while making zillions of Euro at the same time. I believe that one day mankind will extinguish its own life on planet earth and in the process murder earth with it. You have done an amazing job in this very revealing gem and with a sense of humour which I seem to be devoid of having read it, lol... Well done, Tom! Outstanding write... Kudo's dear friend...

A very clever comment on AI….. it’s really getting out of hand…. But I guess in all of humanity there will be those who are really into it…most of us can’t keep up with the advances in AI…..personally I like real humans, be they beautiful or not, brilliant or not…..

Yes, what has happened to this society of ours? I am adamantly skeptical of the multi-faceted AI onslaught that has besieged modern society. Your words of such a community are but a tiny morsel of what is happening to this life of ours on so many levels that I shudder with concern, but then I know it is that which shall prevail as time marches forward to a drum beat of "this is now"! We won't stop it. We can but hope that proper algorithms are introduced to protect us because I am fearful that ANYTHING can be a part of AI if it is designed to infiltrate the system.

Your final words are fitting; we must have the courage to be vigilant and not become as those who fall victim to one who sits chuckling at their supposed brilliance. (I could have asked AI for a response to this. How dang scary is that????)

you know the answer is $$$$$$$. There's no concern in many elements of society for any harm that may result. AI is just the latest tech to fall prey to abuse. I'm sure those concerned minds of past generations felt as much dismay for the use of other then current tech. Dear Tom,

People are losing communicational skills, tue ability to connect and relate to other humans purely because of an overdose of technology mainly in the form of mobile telephones and internet. Little wonder, these young men are lost when it comes to dating skill. Here again, AI comes to the rescue, offering maximum gratification for little effort. So it's a vicious circle. This is s brilliant and timely poem.
