I just adore the beautiful ease with which this amazing poem is penned. I feel you experience a beautiful peace in your home, Tom and that you are close to Mother Nature there. This beautiful piece of heaven was earmarked by Fate for you to live in and I feel you have thrived in the blessed solitude which surrounds you. I love that you have your very own live alarm clock, Tom (laughing and hoping you don't throw a shoe out the window at him!) and a home for the bees to visit as they collect nectar. I hope you leave some water with a teaspoon of sugar out for them to keep up their energy levels. A wonderful picture painted for your reader through excellent word choice. You are truly an artist with words, Tom. Thank you so very much for sharing. I so enjoyed reading...

I enjoyed reading very much, Tom and thank you again for sharing...
Of all your works, this title stood out to me the most, and the poem lived up to the title. What a beautiful picture you painted! To me “solitude” equates to loneliness, but this solitude seems to have a zen quality. I feel that “blissful exile” is such a beautiful and fitting term. I sure am happy you have found a place of your own. It sounds beautiful!

Thank you fallon, I'm delighted you could so relate to my poem, please to call by again? 🥂
Have you been reading my diary. Or yes it seems it happened to you too. But I couldn't create the world so well. And I haven't.
Beautifully written and showing your love for the place you discovered both in reality and in your mind.

Indeed so Ken, looks as if we are kindred spirits, many thanks my friend! 😊
A blissful write of a country retreat to call home; many beautiful, descriptive lines, echoing the beauty of the place and surroundings.
Peace and serenity are a must.
Home is where the heart is.
You wrote marvelously

Indeed so poet Sami, thank you, nailed, bullseye, spot on, " Home is where the heart is " ☺
Tom, I had one of those way back and was my two bedded palace.. I miss it even now, this very moment!
Your poem is so full of feeling, honest and well 'spoken' especially the following,
' Nowadays, I'm easy in solitude,
notwithstanding cockeral's crow,
bleeting of mama yew, anxious
offspring don't stray, buzz of buzy
honeybee, pollinator of purpled
headed thistles and other flowery
topped greenery, folk likely know
as weeds...'
That said, believe me, your first and third stanza ring beautiful bells.

That's a lovely house! it reminds me of Sleeping Beauty's abode with its lush vegetation partially covering and concealing it. As you so eloquently said, it makes for a wonderfully blissful exile. Solitude, peace and all that flowery greenery, not to mention all those endearing creatures around you. You're so blessed indeed. I enjoyed this poem very much, dear Tom.

Thank you Divya, I'm delighted indeed you could relate so and enjoyed my poem!! 😎
Tom,
I think it must be every poet's dream to live in a cottage somewhere in Great Britain... A Bee Loud Glade for a garden. Do you entertain visitors?
