A tedious routine...

I didn't get picked for a game today but I'm not disheartened ...Really I'm not!!

Monday to Friday twice daily

I commute on a weekly ticket,

as the wheels of the train go around,

clickety, clickety, click it,

A tedious routine and though 

I am thoroughly sick of it,

what keeps me going is come Saturday 

I will exult at the wicket,

Leather v willow, ball striking bat 

playing and enjoying cricket,

so unless my 6 numbers come up in the lotto

for the next twenty years, I'll just have to stick it !

Nothing would be finer than to win the lotto, I couldn't agree more. To be free to work if you choose too, not because you have too and to be able indulge in hobbies.
