Dandilions

Dandilions

A Poem by Tom
"

A poem of devotion !

"
Dandelions

Some prefer and pick a rose,
to share in loves delight
Red is the favoured colour,
for cupid's arrow to take flight

Others choose the daffodil,
majestic in vibrant yellow
Sure to make a lady smile,
when offered by a handsome fellow

I prefer to pick dandelions,
perhaps, a peculiar habit?
As not only do I think they're beautiful,
so does my adored, pet bunny rabbit!

Tom,
"Dandelions" what a nice little story with lovely rhyme this was. I felt thankful for all the flowers that have been such a pleasure to enjoy, dandelions included. Your pet bunny rabbit must have loved the way you cared even was given a nice yellow treat! This was a delight to read and just find a sweet moment. Thanks ..................Kathy

Just checking in as I think this little cracker deserves to be resurrected and allowed out to breathe... I hope my clicking on the box attracts a little more attention.....

my pleasure entirely Tom... N
If your pet rabbit doesn't have a name yet, might I suggest ' Daisy ' almost as pretty as dandelions. your poems are a delicious treat!

Thank you my friend 🐰
These words just took me back some, to a time when I would spend hours collecting dandelion leaves for both Baldric & Patience my beloved old Herman's Tortoises. A lovely nostalgic start to a cold Sunday morning, cheers Tom

A belated & most humble thank you Kathy!
This has such a tenderness to it, and then just hits one in the face with a laugh! In a good way! And yes, I had rabbits before, and there was nothing that pleased their palates more than a tasty bowl of dandelions.
