Welcome back to hell old friend

Welcome back to hell old friend

A Poem by Tom Henman
"

The horrors of returning to normality...

"

Welcome back to hell old friend you’re here at long long last.

Here, I wouldn't dwell old friend, I’d rather inhabit the past

Enjoy your time away? did you think it would last forever?

Surely you knew about this day that we would be together

Don’t get used to breaks, to do so would be being a fool,

As you see, today is the day you wake and see freedoms, none at all

Did you think it was reality? your trip away and abroad

To do so would be insanity so eject now, pull the chord

You should know now I'm not fond waiting I'm one to jump the gun

So no arguing or debating so join me and we’ll be one

Look at me my dear come now, trains at the station

There is nothing quite to fear, its only automation

Why do you hesitate and stop? come with me, your future awaits

Your going way over the top, please come now, or you’ll make us all late

You are not in possession; I own you as a whole

So let us end this petty session, lets face it, I'm in control

You know that funny feeling, gnawing at your loin

Well now you can start screaming, because now we are conjoined

You know this could have been averted, if you had used your voice

No, that was a joke although perverted, really, you never had a choice

Do not try to fight or plough, it doesn't hurt me, not even annoy,

Just relax, get used to it now, be calm about the fact, that you've now become my toy
