GriefA Poem by TomThis poem is about Mourning
Grief, old friend, You've come again.
Your visits seem to never end. With heavy presence and numbing touch, You're by my slide, you stand and watch. Your whispered words bring wrenching tears, And once again with renewed fears. They say in time, you'll tire of me, And find someone who isn't free From icy grips and mournful cries Who just began their first 'Good byes.' So it's farewell to you my friend, Or just 'until we meet again...' © 2017 Tom |
