Crammed ConfidenceA Poem by Tomi"Crammed onfidence"
I won’t stutter, not today I’ll say every word; precise I’ll face the crowd, so I pray Say everything like I revised
After the speech, after the show I want a “well done” & “nice Speech” I really just want to know How shy, how confident?
Yet my fright wins Though I prepared in due diligence I’m still nervous at most things The façade is all but crammed confidence
One day, I’ll talk to an audience They’ll listen, learn and laugh I’ll be myself but bold and sound Not depending on crammed confidence © 2013 TomiAuthor's Note
