Lullaby Or Not 2

Lullaby Or Not 2

A Poem by Tomi

Earthly wars and deadly quakes

Lion’s roar and deadly snakes

Empty seas and empty lakes

It’s no wonder the baby wakes

Jingle bells and twinkle stars

Soda, cream and chocolate bars

Mother’s milk and apple pies

It’s no wonder the baby smiles

Drowning oceans and lofty heights

Frequent wars, unruly sights

Burning kites and fading lights

It’s no wonder the baby bites

Lightening strikes when thunder sounds

Earthquakes shake the earthly grounds

Loud music from famous bands

Hurray! Goes the baby’s hand

A sad lullaby. The poem tell a real story.. Children pay for the sins of their parent. The good description led the reader to war and suffering. Thank you for the excellent poem.
