You Used To Be

You Used To Be

A Poem by Tomi

There’s a book of sad stories where my heart used to be
Music, art, love, hate and who we used to be
There’s a space in history where we used to be
Too bad, you forgot the person you used to be

It is sad when we forget who we were. We become empty shells with with no purpose. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.
