House Of LiesA Poem by Tomi
Starting from the end, lying to a friend
Falsehood in a sandwiched truth walking haphazardly, straight to a bend reaping nothing in my youth A drunken saturday, i'm all blacked out if I lied Again, I can't remember There's no truth left, I just ran out It's so unusual, A hot december Goodbye forever, build me a stone house forget all I said, but wonder a little of what was and what could have dance for forgiveness, miss me a little buy me some time, spare me a minute if I ever come back, take me with open arms and when I speak please do not listen my words are nothing but a house of lies © 2012 TomiAuthor's Note
