Caught LookingA Poem by Tom BensonHow many men would admit to this happening?
Auburn hair, long, brushed, eyebrow arched, inviting. Her outfit, velvet, crushed, suggestive and exciting.
A twinkle in her eye, ruby coloured lips. Smooth expanse of thigh, below slow swaying hips.
A chest that makes men stare, with cleavage deep between. Tanned midriff, smooth and bare, a belly button seen.
Each leg in fishnet stocking, a look that will appeal. A thrust of hip while walking, on high stiletto heel.
She knows she has your gaze, so obvious it seems. You think of all the ways, you'd have her, (in your dreams).
So close now you could touch, she leans to have a word. Her fragrance is too much, her beauty is absurd.
Your luck must surely change, she now fills all your sight? You try to rearrange, your underwear's so tight.
'Hello my handsome friend,' she whispers, she won't shout. 'Wrong message that you send, your tongue is hanging out …'
