Quiet Nights

Quiet Nights

A Poem by TomboyVisionary
"

Praise the evening night

"

Quiet Nights

The night sings to me
Its somber feeling of a sober evening
Crickets screeching
Owls Howling
The ambience of life that all seems frightening

These nights make me think of questions
Yes Questions
Questions that were barely given thought
The vastness of the universe
The Depth of a mans mind

My sweet and lovely night
Please sing to me and show me thy might
Let me think of the good in this world
The way you would your strongest of manhood

Quiet nights, there is nothing like it
The round moon that speaks the unknown for tomorrow
All of men to remind themselves not to go hallow

These quiet nights, I would not trade for gold
Please oh quiet night, I do not wish to sell my soul
