LostA Poem by TomboyVisionaryA dystopian worldLost Ragged clothes and dusty horizon Broken homes and scorched buildings What little left of my sanity to keep moving The old days of smiles and the sound of music soothing the laughter of families echo in these darkened lands I hear them everyday, how they lived and how they died It mocks my loneliness, my suffering As I float through these roads with all of it lingering I am lost, but not by choice Perhaps I'll remain lost to roam swiftly As I am lost, I am alive As I am damned I have survived But if you ask me how? Who said I did.....?
