Righteous Sorrow

Righteous Sorrow

A Poem by TomboyVisionary

Righteous Sorrow

In a world full of sin
Thoughts, done, destroyed
We are faced with a task at hand
The most difficult task a human can possibly overcome

The mind and its infinite prowess
The line of humane and inhumane
The Lord himself provided the rules
'My most grievous of mistakes all in a leash

Now my most greatest of fears have come to play
Seeking to claim my pasts mistakes once more
To evermore halt what is being cleansed from my soul
My righteous suffering, nothing more seems more veracious

My sorrow into peaceful rage
For the modern man would rather fear than pity
The Devil is a defeated enemy
Only to the Lord should man have their head bowed as to weep
for forgiveness and strength

Cursed must be our humanly selves
Hence the balance of men and holy
Our struggles must indeed make sense
We have been placed in the world for a task

The many will be false to claim as our duty
Blinded by money, women, power
Induced with the land of fame
We should never fall for the deceitfulness

Yaps of joy without thought and mindless destruction
No discipline, no sense of grounding and God
The demons we the people have whole heartedly accepted in  our hearts

My righteous suffering, I see the tranquility and mindfulness he has given
Through you I am given peace, now and forever the man I was destined to be
Nevermore will the devil I seek
Nevermore will I be fooled

Forage for the farm?
No, for I am already there
In Jesus name, I will uphold your name before me
My righteous suffering, I will die protecting this world with all my glory and shame
