Before The Fall

Before The Fall

A Poem by TomboyVisionary
"

A fools take on humility

"

Before The Fall

When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.
This earthly presence, the beauty of his kingdom
Places unholy or holy, cities, towns, villages worldly whole
The corrupted hearts of the mightiest of men
Existing and walking amongst such with their hearts full of pride
Must they see the obstacles they overcame
An evil spirit enters, welcomed with opened arms for the deceitfulness they falsely tamed

Boastful arrogance, loud of ambition and not generosity
Naked self swinged atrocities with blinded ferocity
Darkened Godlike strength, as he failed to see his grim
Failed to bare in mind that he was not him

We take pride in our self adventures
We enjoy to immerse ourselves into the feeling of immortality
I've seen so many men fall for the sight blinded by fog
You can always feel Godly in different weathers and calamities
But God can always have you die like a dog

Must we see ourselves fallen into this trap of prideful nude
It is always better for the soul to be mustered full of gratitude

Be grateful but don't set yourself so high that you see yourself unkillable
See low enough to provide for the world from the story that formed you formidable

Pride comes before the fall
But if he says you must never instill for it to be the end
Must you trip, smile and be grateful for the challenges bestowed
The sucking of pride is good journey, through the depths of where you tripped will you crawl
