Walk

You might feel alone walking this earth while the others pass by quickly

Intimidates the masses, they would rather arrive much swiftly

I used to to think vehicles would somehow prove your worth

Now I feel pride with the many miles I can walk this earth

The soreness in your legs would feel horrid at first

Catching your breath as your dying of thirst

Feel it and consume it, despite the atmosphere

In time your body and mind will begin to clear

God knew of my dislike of the sun

The stinging heat burns but I refused to run

It only evermore ignited the fire in my heart

Now the sun shines brightly, and I feel none

He saw this, so today he blessed me with rain

Cleansing my mind from the madness and pain

Only to be filled once more with the same

For me to overcome as I begin to train

Try walking for a change, who knows what you'll find

Feel the air regardless the climate, no demons to hide

A decent exercise for you to grow

Maybe test your limits when winter falls its snow

This world gave you legs, if you don't have them then feel gratitude to be alive

Seek the opportunities of this world and begin to strive

It's good advice. Most of us need to touch grass more than we should. Exercise can be hypnotic and almost spiritual. I don't push myself to the extremes that I used to but, I still find a kind of quasi spiritual rejuvenation in myself every once and a while... and then I'm sore for the entire week.
