Letter to God 

The Father almighty, I come to you vulnerable and existent

Your ways are unknown, but I speak to you with my knee bent

I am no saint, shall you read through my shadows you would faint

Shall you see through my future, I pray you would align me to a stable fate

Your wrath, your power and your ways in this world instilled

I will never understand it, and though I never will

I am free as I am destroyed to be strengthened within your grasp

I am at peace as I am at a war with life that's in your hands

I am human, your most beautiful yet damned creation

I am capable of all sin, doomed to feel abomination

And I ask that you do not cast my worries away

For I shall master to overcome it my own way

I pray that you give me strength and wisdom to fear none

So when you summon your most difficult challenges before me

My perseverance will overcome every single one

My heart and my soul, from the darkest to the brightest

I seek not an easy life to feel the lightest

I humbly request the toughest so I may emerge as the strongest

The love and hate this gray world plagues

Give them light in their darkest nights, let their horrors drift away

Even if our lives are surrounded by the fog
