A Chapter by Tomato Juice

He has emerald eyes. I saw him, briefly, when he left the house in the early hours of the morning. He saw me and it was weird " we kinda just stood there, across from each other and stared. Me, with wide eyes. Him, with curious eyes.
“Hey, you must be Trenton’s little brother, right?” I could’ve lost my balance over that voice of his. It was velvety, smooth and husky " but with a gentle melody mixed.
I curse myself now for being such an idiot, but I said yes, nevertheless.
“What’s your name?” Why did he have to not have a shirt on?
I stuttered and spluttered my name out to him, ducking my head in shame and embarrassment. Again, I curse myself for being such a damn idiot!
“Nice to meet you, Corey.” He smiled (which made my legs buckle) and left out the front door without another word. I didn’t realise I was holding my breath until he had left.
Is it weird to like how he said my name? Because if it is, then there’s seriously something wrong with me.

Corey
