Elegy: David Kelly

Elegy: David Kelly

A Poem by Tomás Ó Cárthaigh
"

Apoem about the death of David Kelly

"

The damage it is done now
The word is is put out
Nothing will muffle the lie
That is louder than any shout

Weapons of mass destruction
A capacity of delivery that does not exist
Grounds for a war that is not just
The concept of justice is missed...

One man can not live with this
One man had a sense of shame
The lias and liars he did despise
David Kelly was his name

He decreed no life by his words or acts would be taken
And that the truth be known
And so one life he did take...
That life was his own...
