Sleeping, I Did Not See The Dancing SunA Poem by Tomás Ó CárthaighIn Ireland, we had a belief, if you watched the Sun Rise on an Easter morning, it would dance in the sky akin to what is claimed to have happened in Medjugorie. My grandfather got up each Easter mornIn Ireland, we had a belief, if you watched the Sun Rise on an Easter morning, it would dance in the sky akin to what is claimed to have happened in Medjugorie. My grandfather got up each Easter morning, and claimed to have seen it, I was often told by my father. In my little cottage for the first time at Easter, this year, I hoped to see it. But alas, I slept it out. And the weather could not have been better. So, I wrote this poem on it, which I link to as the site wont allow Copy and Paste in Firefox, alas!
