Bromeliads

Bromeliads

A Poem by Anthony
"

So much time is put into perfecting survival

"
Bromeliads are beautiful
with their slender reaching
leaves, outstretched to collect
every drop of sweet water dew
the forest provides for them.
Rolling it down to their
center stalk with such
elegance that only a million
years of random chance
and pure success can produce.
Like an immaculate machine
the bromeliad survives flawlessly
and thrives with stunning wrath,
shooting up blinding blossoms
to signal its own mastery of the Jungle.
