Blue Skies In January

Blue Skies In January

A Poem by Anthony
"

The weather might be nice, but we need the rain.

"
I wish upon this living Earth
a sky of rain to fill its flowers.
Though to this you may close off your ear,
we need the mother's showers.
So cast, cast away, these blue skies in January.
We must suffer through the frigid cold;
endure winter as time has told.
Tell me not the beauty of the day
until the pouring rain takes its hold.
Hear me say cast, cast away, these blue skies in January.
