Shadows

Shadows

A Poem by Togo and Fritz

Shadows dancing in the moonlight

You took your last flight.

Wondering about your last sight,

I lost every fight.

Shadows nestled in your eyes,

patterns on my thighs.

You needed your cries and

I needed my lies.

So I took the night plane,

running to escape your chains.

But through the white warmth of old wounds,

through the blood of these forgotten rains,

I itch the familiar ache of our shadowy pain.

Hey we both just wrote a poem with the same title!!

Different meanings of course but... hey... were still title siblings for a day!
