Forever Beloved

Forever Beloved

A Poem by Tobyana

In the back of my mind, the whisper of thought,
a memory of memory, that could never be bought. . .
A barely there touch, a kiss on the cheek..
a memory of love, I barely remember to seek..

A couple in love, to the world they are blind..
Caught in a moment, no-one else could find..
Barely remembered, no way it could exist..
but the soul cries out, that love does persist..

A memory lost, of a place that cannot be..
Is burned in my mind, its all I can see.
My mind says its fiction, but the heart disagrees..
It would search the world, and cross all seas.

A place in my mind of a time barely lost..
A memory I would reclaim, no matter the cost. . .
A marble city, a serene forest. . . and of it. . .
I'd give anything to retrieve, my forever beloved.

Uuuuh, haven't had time to proof this, and it was a quick write. If you see grammar errors, feel free to point them out, but don't feel any need to dwell too much on them.
