Life of a Tree

Life of a Tree

A Poem by misfit_joker
"

not my usual stuff. Im helping my brother trying to get into poetry so i give him topics everyday to write about and i figured why not lead by example.

"

I find it ironic

How people think me wise

For I was born from a nut

How I can be so tall

Yet most of my life

I was only a sprout

How I say not a word

But Im known for my bark

I was born before most

And look over they're graves

One day i would like to leave this town

For I have seen to much sorrow

But sadly I have to stick to my roots

This is the life of a tree

I simply want to share a little bit of my world and bring it to yours. I do not believe in sticking with one general genre of writing because it limits the possibilities. Please enjoy more..
