If only my eyes could touch you
And my fingers could see you
Listen to my silence
Hear it
The footsteps of my footsteps
Shadows of my shadows
Dreams in my dreams

Broken capillaries
Bloodshot eyes
What are they
Naught to a broken heart

A breath
Stolen from my parted lips
Devoted to my goddess
Whose voice gently touches
And awakens the sleepy daisies
Coaxing shy mimosas
Spreading the wings of Dawn
Letting the Night's starry blanket fall away..

Oh, my beloved!
For as dawn turns to dusk
And I sink slowly into your eternal embrace
Let my death
Be adorned by the perfume of your breath..
