Dawn

Dawn

A Poem by Tkess

All is before me…

The darkness grows into the light.

All is gone…

Like this love of a virgin kiss.

The moon hangs in the distance,

Biding its time ‘til another dawn,

Flashes through the horizon.

The sunlight is all we know

As we drift towards the madness.

Chaos, confusion!

The love of life swallowed by the world.

But the love it lingers,

Like cigarette smoke in a darkened room.

Dark as night, but bright as morning

Creeping down your hallway wall
