HelplessA Poem by Tkess
Colorful neon against the black sky The moon's being shy tonight Hiding behind a blanket of white These empty streets make me feel so Helpless
Bleed in your own light, Dream before the starry night Changes to a newsprint grey I feel faint whispers in the wind I can hear the sounds of violins It all leaves me so Helpless
Cruel, cruel clouds That hides the sun Leaves outside dance and play Memories chain me to the day Thoughts of you leave me so Helpless
Light from your window Makes such peculiar patterns On my soul Words rest upon your lips Your eyes just give you away They sing to me somehow And leave me so Helpless © 2012 TkessReviews
