Reflections

Reflections

A Poem by Tkess

The trees against the sky

Like a black gallows moan

Distorted with black moss shadows

That clings to us like a disease

Reflections of this earth

Ripples in the water,

Our heads reverberate with the night

These cracked brains resigned

Devouring maelstroms eternal

And murmuring words perpetual

Sinful and slithering

Venomous and tempting

Us with this apple that is our lives,

Shiny and tasty

And soon to be full of worms

liked this part especially.."These cracked brains resigned

Devouring maelstroms eternal

And murmuring words perpetual

Sinful and slithering

Venomous and tempting

Us with this apple that is our lives,

Shiny and tasty

And soon to be full of worms'
yes all to be dark and distorted..
