The Rhythm of the Night Beats like a SkullA Poem by Tkess
Savage tongued fairytales A murmur of flesh-tone nightmares Calls you to the windowsill To view this concrete snarl
Stained-glass illuminations Cast shadows through the streets Crucified dreamers beg for Secret voices to pierce your soul
The buildings are big among the ground Swallowing the yellow-red impressions As the sun sinks into the past Ghosts of a sepia-tone jungle
Rhythm of the night Like drumbeat on a skull Feels like a four day bender Waking up alone
A moment filled mystery As the streets rise up To let you fall, again © 2011 TkessReviews
