The shadows look like skeletons All the weeds look like dead rats that couldn’t quite Make it through the cracks in the sidewalk It all went down a bit too heavy It all went down a bit too fast Handcuffed to the end of the line Thrown through life’s little parade Naked and screaming It’s not a gunshot in the distance, but Cold hard facts bursting through the night
