A Chapter by Tkess

Gnarled cliff face shaping the rocky pier.

Blind waves crashing, breaking.

Soft, delicate flow of silk skirts

as fluid as the sea.

The day trampled underfoot.

The heavens overflowing

Yellow moon on violin.

The freckle of stars, seated orchestra.

The impossibility of your eyes
