Down that road

Its a gospel song I wrote how God been always there for me based on my life, hope you all like it

1. People think I'm crazy,
Tried everything but I'm not there yet.
I wanna be somebody but I'm just floating here.
Oh I'm just a human, will fail, will fall.
But you will be my guiding star to show me the way.

Chorus: in the night I remember you,
Cause you are my help in the morning.
You pick me up every time I fall on the ground.
And in the noon I will praise your name,
For everyday and everything you've done down that road.

2. I'm walking down the broken road, playing broken strings.
My heart was stabbed , I bleed to death but I lived coz I am saved.
And i am more than just a girl, I'm brave who beat the fear in the name of Christ the savior .

3. People think I'm still crazy.
For singing same old love song.
Everything I do, I'm drowning there .
Oh I'm only a human, I failed, but i will not hold back, but hold on and breath .

Hi Toto

It's always difficult to say anything about a song just by the words and without any knowledge of the musical composition that goes along with it, but I'll try my best to say what I think about it.

I feel that songs should either be melodic or tell a story. If they can do both, then you've got it spot on.
In your piece, I can't really say that I find either of those qualities. I kind of get that this is a song about the love for God and about keeping faith in Him despite what people say about you and no matter what life throws at you. But maybe you could present it in a clearer and more lyrical manner.

Again, difficult, and even unfair, to say anything about a song just by the words. But I think you can try making it more melodic or tell a story clearly. Maybe you could just talk about an instance to show the love of God, like how someone overcome adversity because of their belief in and love for God.
