Royal ballA Poem by Toto JamesIts about an ordinary girl who wished to be a princess, and one day she woke up a princess
I woke up in a green gown ,
Lavender pearls on my hand , Laying on the Softest bed. Right under my feet, Was a beautiful crystal swan chandelier hanging on top of the ceiling. I got up and looked in the mirror; I had the princess hair, And a princess skin, I told myself ; I smell like a princess . The next door was a loud royal music played, I hurled and opened the door, I paused! Kings and queens ; princes and princesses dancing. I pulled up a little my weigh gown , And climbed down the stairs, I looked around, I heard a voice raised " come here my darling" Was a king on his throne . A queen held my hand " here is someone we like you to meet " and walked me to the throne . Stood a handsome prince , Wore a lavender pearl brooch. Knelt ; do I have the permission to take your daughter to the ball? Took me by his side , He reached his arm around my waist , My hand on his shoulder , And the other locked with his hand, Was my first Royal ball . © 2018 Toto James |
