A poem I found written in a journal of mine from a few months back.
The August sun sets over the horizon As we all curl up to rest our minds The cold months are coming, yet we let the chills pass Frost consuming us, taking us slowly Icicles steadily piercing our skin As we freeze to rise into clouds
I'd really appreciate reviews on this, but please keep in mind that this is old writing of mine. It would be nice if you weren't rude, as I don't respond very well to impolite comments.

This poem was very interesting, and it was an enjoying read. Short but sweet, this poem bought a smile on my face! Keep up the good work, and never stop writing!

I like this one, it shows how the world is constantly changing, and instead of fighting it, we should embrace it and become a part of it. The chill could represent something less then pleasant, judging by the lines "the frost consumes us, and icicles steadily piercing out skin. However, there is no indication of the chill being stopped, which shows that no matter what life brings, good or bad, everything changes, and you have to accept it.
I can't really say much about myself, for I don't have the words to describe me.
I suppose in order to truly know myself I'd have to be in peace with myself.
