Such simple things

Ever stopped and taken time to think about the little things in your life that mean the world to you?

Simple, Little Things.

 

The simple things,

That go by fast,

That we don’t catch,

Cause the moment’s passed.

 

So ungrateful for the little things,

Always catching the big idea,

But we never take time to stop and think,

About things we should hold dear.

 

What about the smile after the good news?

Or the laugh after a mistake?

How bout’ the breath before the kiss?
Or the times before the heartbreak?

The dream far from reality?
Or the moments when to lovers meet?
The time when we feel hopeless,

then stand back on two feet?

 

Or the hug from a friend,

You haven’t seen in awhile?

Or the one comment someone makes,

That makes it all worthwhile?

 

These are some things,

We should think more about,

Because these little things,

We couldn’t live without.
