Silence

Silence

A Poem by Tiffany Elise
"

Hint: Look deeper into the last couple lines and the poem becomes darker.

"

I hate it more than love,

I hate it more than life,

I hate the way it talks,

I hate what it's like.

I hate the way it speaks,

clearly enough to hear,

but it speaks without a sound,

then escapes a tear.

Thinking in the silence,

because that's all that's left to do,

hating the thoughts that cross my mind,

even though they're true.

Thinking thinking,

a thought escapes my lips,

I bite my lip in silence,

I loose sanity's grip.

I go insane,

inside my mind,

You hurt me so bad,

I guess it's the time.

I break the silence,

and speak my mind,

I finally say what I want,

now out of time.

I hate you just as much as it,

silence itself,

silence now dead.
