Internal Darkness

Internal Darkness

A Poem by Tiffany Elise
"

How does it feel?

"

Shifting into internal darkness,

how does it feel to die?

I don't see heaven or hell,

I don't see a glowing light.

I feel my skin burning

As the water soaks into my skin,

I taste the rich, cool air,

and my soul pierces the veil which now seems so thin.

My life flashes infront of me,

and I remember those who I once loved,

Why did they betray me?

If they loved me, right now I would be safe not heading above.

I embrace internal darkness,

and wish for a glowing light,

Now I don't have to wonder,

what it's like to die.

where it says I feel my skin burning As the water soaks into my skin you should change As the water soaks into my skin to as the water soaks in
