Reality

Reality

A Poem by T. Hart

The things you seem to understand,
Never lie in wait,
But hold fast to their character,
And siphon off the bait.

They overtake your knowledge,
As you flaunt your spirits high,
And when reality takes you,
All you can do is sigh.

So hold fast to your pencil,
Hold fast to your pen,
Enjoy the things you learn in life,
Begin the process again.

this has great flow!!!! see improvement is unavoidable :P
i agree with caleb, it's short and sweet, but it gets a crystal clear message across to a certain audience while being eloquent. Nice work!!!!

I love this. Very short and simple, yet inspirational at the same time.
