Where I found you.

Where I found you.

A Poem by Tip_Toe
"

My son died recently, in searching for him I found him snuggled up in my words, I pulled back the thoughts and here is what I found…

"

In your bedroom I found the man, you were growing to be.

Your technical order, I smiled at the random chick Fick DVD.

In your bike, I found your passion for mechanical creativity.

Customised parts you ordered, your brother now assembles your loving legacy.

In your old photos I found my little boy and the journey, you shared with me.

Now they are the start of a collective story, the telling of your lived memory.

In your friends, I found your companionship, loyalty and new age chivalry.

They bared the weight of your passing in bewildered autonomy.

In your family, you will find we found you, in all hearts, melodically.

I hope you found, you were, loved so profoundly, with eternal honesty.

Honestly, I wouldn't feel right giving you anything constructive in regards to your poem when taking into consideration the subject matter. This was written from the depths of your heart and that is very evident. We have all felt loss with someone who we loved and we know, in the end, it is the little funny things about them that we remember with the most happiness. Sometimes it is best not to mourn but to be thankful they blessed our lives for whatever time they were able to spend with us. I think this is a beautiful and warm tribute. Thank you for sharing these lovely thoughts about your son. I am so sorry for your loss.

It's such a sad and sweet piece. I loved it.
Just a thought, maybe make the font a tad bigger? I had to get super close to the screen, cause I'm blind like that, lol.
Excellent piece tho.

This is a very sweet poem. Intimate, caring, honest and hopeful. Reflects a rare type of relationship. Well Done :-) X

I thought this was most tender, beautiful and touching. Your heart was in every word and every line. Who could ask for more than that? Not this reader!

I do think you need to play with the font size, as it is hard for *ahem* older eyes to read that tiny type face. I'm fine with it of course, but there are many here who would find it difficult. :)
