THOUGHTS

THOUGHTS

A Poem by Evelynne Tionge

Thoughts fill my head
Bringing death to the dead
Drowning sanity in silence's fever
Light years away seems forever
Now seems awfully unbearable
The morning's yearns unreachable

I want thoughts of my own
Dreadful is mowing somebody's lawn
Have i had somebody else's thoughts all along
That my own seem to have me far gone
I walk in a dark downward spirial
My very being turning viral

tomorrow's winds blow again
I sleep like a hurricane
Rain drentches my desires
Yet they burn like a thousand forest fires
Im trapped in a cage of misunderstanding
Every step i take is like a drunk stumbling

I want my own thoughts
A voice overlooking my faults
Let forever fall behind
For tomorrow is in yester year's mind
Let me catch one last breath
For my phobias have tremendous breadth
