Cursed Beauty

Cursed Beauty

A Poem by Tina Kline

With a certain flare with his calligraphy
He wrote the story of a crazed banshee
Her wails mean a lot more than death
Hear her cajolery in her demented breath
Yes, she is oh so beautiful to behold
But to embrace her would make you suddenly very old
In the spectrum of the young versus the old age
You don't want your name written on a frail yellow page
Avoid her shenanigans however you can
You don't really at all want to understand
Her eyes have a mad iridescence, a sort of glow
Avoid the banshee, ignore her seduction, let her go

That which makes us weak is usually our downfall. Temptations that we just can't resist. Awesome poem!

This is a bit creepy and has the makings of a story. I like the grand details you describe her with especially her eyes.

She does sound like someone best to stay away from. If one can resist the temptation she presents.

Dark and deadly. Sometimes temptation leads us down a road we wished we'd never started on. Excellent poem.

Oh yes, stay away from such a seducer! She is evil to the core!.....shivers!
You bring "its" being alive!
