I Seek Love

I Seek Love

A Poem by Tina Kline
"

A vampire seeks her dead husband on the battlefield to reunite with him.

"
I seek love
in the midst of despair
walking the battlefield
the dead are everywhere
I seek that certain face
he who I will revive
I wander this tragic place
wanting to bestow the gift of life
I seek him who I will marry
my husband I am his wife
immortality tore us apart
but death does re-write
I find him and now a new life will start
resurrection with my blood
he rises as a new born vampire
he is as I now and we can again love
I seek love
love I found
death gave him to me
denied was the ground

Im into the whole seeking love by playing the levels kinda theme. Im saying this because of the life experiences or stages that are displayed as the different happenings in the love story and what I like about this love story here is that it is purely deep rooted so the reader can relate to their personal story as their taken to this scenery of playing the levels in life because of love.

oh no, not another vampire-love story! This poem, in my opinion, would have been much better without that blood-lusting supernatural creature. Of course, this is only personal preference. The writing is good.

Ah, even death cannot end love. A stark example here as the wife, a vampire, seeks to re-unite with her husband now that he has died.

A vampire looking for her dead husband on the battle field to turn him so they can be together, very romantic and tender.
