This just perfectly speaks into the day.. green here, but so very hot.. and dry! Yes.. there is that anticipation of rain and the wonder of that moment.

Another nice, well thought out haiku! I love the idea of leaves waiting for the rain in the midst of green! And, in your area, you don't have to wait tooooo long to see such as this...lol
