WolvesA Poem by Tina KlineIn the far north where the northern lights flicker and hiss wolves track across the snow the ivory landscape stretches wide the ivory landscape unfolds far endless white with the distant shadows of a vast ancient Douglas Fir forest the wolves come to a pause noses tilted upward sniffing the air tasting everything around them they tip their heads skyward where the aurora borealis shifts in invisible solar winds and they let forth their wild song it rises up and mixes with the cosmos and rains back down upon the world the wolves howling and soon as the night continues the wolves will wander on © 2011 Tina KlineFeatured Review
